Estepona, the south that doesn’t disappoint

Flower-filled streets, steady light, and that Andalusian rhythm that slows everything down without you even noticing.

Some places on the Costa del Sol live off their reputation, others live for real. Estepona belongs to the second group. The old town feels like a beautifully preserved Andalusian village: narrow streets, geranium-filled pots, and small squares where people still sit down to do nothing. And just five minutes away, the sea.

Our concept on the Costa del Sol is built around offering exactly that: a place to truly experience Estepona. Feelathome Casa Azahar is a boutique hotel in the historic centre, just steps from the seafront promenade and the old town, with reception and a rooftop. Not just another hotel, but a place designed so you feel at home with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

At Feelathome we take care of every detail so you don’t have to think about anything: from check-in to check-out, and everything in between. The goal is simple — you leave rested, not managed.

The Costa del Sol has many places to stay. We just want yours to be the one you remember.

How to get to Estepona

The nearest airport is Málaga-Costa del Sol, about 80 km via the AP-7, roughly 50 minutes by car. You can also reach it from Marbella in 25 minutes or from Algeciras in around 40. There is no direct train, but direct buses connect Málaga and the main coastal towns.

When to visit

Estepona works all year thanks to the Costa del Sol microclimate. Spring and autumn are ideal: mild temperatures, fewer crowds, and better prices. Summer brings beach life and late-night terraces. Winter offers a peaceful south: sunny days, a quiet town, and the feeling of having it all to yourself.

What not to miss

The old town early in the morning, before the heat kicks in. The seafront promenade at sunset. The local market to understand what people actually eat. And if you have a car, take a trip up to Ronda — the distance is short and the contrast with the coast is unforgettable.

Where to eat

Estepona offers great food without Marbella prices. The beach chiringuitos are among the best on the coast for fried fish and espetos. In the old town, tapas bars still offer little extras with your drink. Ask us when you arrive and we’ll point you to where locals actually go — always a better signal than any online review.
