Málaga has something that stays with you. It's not just the sea at the end of every street, or the museums that have turned the city into a cultural landmark of southern Europe. It's that natural, unhurried, unaffected way of living that gets under your skin from day one.
At Feelathome Málaga we've spent years helping people from all over the world settle into the city — not just visit it. Our apartments in central Málaga are in the neighbourhoods where real life happens: close to the market, steps from a good terrace, with the historic centre right at your fingertips.
Every apartment is bright, spacious and functional — designed so you don't have to adapt to the place, but the place adapts to you. Because the best way to get to know Málaga is to live it from the inside.
Central Málaga is perfectly walkable. For everywhere else, the urban bus network covers the whole city and the metro connects the centre with the western area and the hospital. The airport is 20 minutes by commuter train from María Zambrano station, one of the most convenient in Spain.
Málaga works year-round and has one of the best climates in Europe. Spring and autumn are ideal: good weather, without the summer heat and with fewer tourists. In summer the atmosphere is at its peak, the nights are long and the sea is close. In winter the sun shines almost every day and the city belongs to the locals.
The Picasso Museum and the Centre Pompidou if you like contemporary art. The Alcazaba any morning, before the tour groups arrive. The Atarazanas Market for breakfast and shopping. And getting lost in the Soho or the Lagunillas neighbourhood to understand the Málaga that never makes it into the guidebooks.
Málaga has one of the best food scenes in southern Spain. Skip the restaurants on Calle Larios and head two streets further in. At the Atarazanas Market you can eat the freshest seafood standing up. In the bars of Mártires and La Merced you'll find proper tapas without paying tourist prices. Ask us and we'll give you specific names.
